There were two very interesting remarks out of the White House yesterday after Mubarak said he would not step down. One was the statement by Obama that what we are seeing in Egypt now is history unfolding. The other was the statement following Mubarak's announcemnt of turning power over to the VP, but not stepping down, "The situation in Egypt is fluid."

It's amazing how the media complex is acting. All the media is ecstatic over Mubarak's overthrow and this yet to see "democracy movement"

BUT.... Who or what is waiting in the wings??

Is the media and the White House supporting revolution just for the sake of supporting a revolution??

But the more important question is this....is this revolution in the best interest of America??

These questions seem to escape the mainstream media sensationalists.

We KNOW about past middle east "revolutions" that have occured.

Cuba had a revolution. Fulgencia Batista was overthrown by Fidel Castro, Raoul Castro, and Che Guevara. What happened next. Communism and tyranny.

We experienced a middle eastern revolution when the Carter administration and the media were so excited about the revolution in Iran concerning the overthrow of the Shah.

What did that gives us.... The Ayatolla and tyranny. Then subsequently, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and a radical islamic state with nukes on the horizon.

Why won't the media and our current government investigate what powers, organization, or group that is behind this uprising/revolution in Egypt?

We have learned that the terrorist 'muslim brotherhood' is in full support of the Egyptian revolution. Plus, the anti-West, anti-capitalist, and anti-Israeli sentiments that have been echoed from alot of the street protesters in the recent days. Does this sound like a pro-democracy movenment?

Again, it seems that the Obama administration and the media are supporting 'revolution' just for the sake of supporting revolution.

This is serious business and our elected government owes it to the citizens of the United States that put them in office to investigate the details leading up to this uprising/revolution and who is behind it.

Nevermind U.S. Intelligence director/International Pawn-James Clapper, who called the radical terrorist 'Muslim Brotherhood' 'secular'...Hillary Clinton...Do your job!!

I heard some recent polling data from the Egyptian people concerning what they want to see more of and it isn't pretty.

It's Sharia law and further clamp downs on human rights. And, this is what the Egyptian people want from their government. Something like 80% want adultery to result in stoning to death and all the usual attocities coming out of that region.

Great post Lamont. Knowing the results of this poll, it shouldn't matter what political persuasion a person is. All freedom loving Americans should want to know what is driving this revolution and WHO is wanting to take control of Egypt's treasury and powerful military machine.

What's the difference. The western world will miss Mubarak. The religious right will take power in Egypt. Sharia law will be the law. Israel will end up nuking most of the Middle East.
