or get a small, new pre-amp. I used an old Adcom GTP-500 with a PC for awhile and it really simplified things. Yer mileage may vary. :D

Thanks for the comments.

I had a glance at this Electronicusa but I think between this and the Decware I'd go Decware. Looks a bit better. But I have no idea concerning it's quality.

A preamp is a good idea, but usually they are too expensive because of some functions I'm not interested in. A used one could be a good solution if not too bulky.

Do you know for example any good small pre-amp with multiple sources?

Cheers!

If you are willing to spend the money and have only RCA connections, the Manley Skipjack is a TOTALLY transparent RCA switch of audiophile grade. I have and use one of these.

It is also configurable to split a single signal for biamping. It is a really cool product.

It's not cheap, though.

The rotary switch in the DECware box is very good and would be your most cost-effective/quality solution. Otherwise, there is the Manley Skipjack for $900 that might be marginally better.

Great. Thanks for the help.

I think I'll go with the DECware. It was the only on-budget and still looking nice solution I found.

The Manley besides being super expensive is crazy ugly.

Cheers!

I am looking for a box that lets me select from two sources into one set of speakers...ie; two sets of speaker wires from two different amps into one set of speakers letting me select the source I want to listen to...

I have not made any effort to look for such a thing yet...but soon.

Just make sure it is a "break before make" switch to ensure there is no momentary connection of the output of one amp with the output of the other.
