It is rumored he posts as Enophile over at AudioAsylum. :-)
He is just as entertaining over there.
hes probably pissed about this butt ass ugly and inefficient forum layout.
:)
While Buddha is not one to get angry, I am afraid there is truth in this.
We appear to have lost a number of members.
I bet Buddha is busy doing Xmas things with family: kids outa school and all.
But what's Lamont's excuse?
I havent been insulted in weeks, I'm starting to get pissed and I don't mean in the British sense.
Sit your ass down at the computer , Lamont, and contribute, dammit.
and gained many as well
(still would like to see Buddha back)
hes probably?
Your a literary guy , Teddy, so I know you know it's He's. :-)
Do I have to do all the work around here? Now I'm correcting spelling just to get the post count up.
This is pahtetic. Soon ill have teh rant about teh magic wire teh create some contorversy.
Can't you guys quit your day jobs to stimulate this forum?
...and the fact it has been weeks with apparently nothing done to improve things!
RG
your=you're
and man, i was having my yearly bender(once a year). been a tough semester at school and so i let my hair down
besides, i'm an idiot anyway.
After all, is that not the definition of audiophiles?
Hmmmmm. I have to admit I feel like the layout is definitely off-putting enough to have me think twice before I bother posting lately. Some of it's just being busy, plus holidays, but I think it's a lot to do with the format. Every time I logon I keep hoping to see it all fixed again. No such luck...
Maybe we should have a spirit award for the most holiday posts :-)
I keep hoping I'll get used to the new layout, or improvements will be made, but neither is happening so far. It's a chore just to read here now.
I couldn't agree more!
LMFAO! :)
Buddha is going through quite a lot personally right now. He emailed me this weekend, stating that he will not be involved with NFS Audio at the THE Show in a few weeks!
I'm really worried about him. I'll do my best to keep up the NFS Audio tradition, but it won't be the same. To those who come by, please raise a glass in his honor. All of you reading this, please wish him well.
Thanks! He's a good man and a dear friend.
Mike
That is not good news. Whatever is going on I hope it resolves quickly.
Hang in there, Buddha.
Sorry to hear that Buddha is on the fritz, Mike. How goes it with you? Remember, always, that NFS is much better than NSF.
If I make the NFS show, I'll stop by and buy you a drink. If not, then I went fishing on the Owens River, in the dead of Winter, and remain thus beyond help.
Buddha is a popular search engine and Internet robot that is temporarily unavailable due to technical issues with the system.
Let Buddha know he is in our thoughts and prayers. I hope through family, friends and prayer he finds the strength to overcome whatever he is going through right now.
Wishing him nothing but the best,
Jeff
Amen to that.

Not knowing what's up, that's all any of us can do. Take care of the old fart, Mike.
Monty
That he is. An honest liberal, and I can appreciate that. Here's one for ya Buddah!! Cheers my friend!
Mark Evans
Thanks for the words of encouragement! I do hope he's reading this and that he does change his mind about THE.
Heads up about NFS: I have the limoncello production in full swing. My Meyer lemon tree in the backyard gave a nice bounty so this should be a killer batch!
The system I'm going to use is my tricked-out Apogee Mini-Grands driven by some 50 year-old tube electronics that Bob Carver is restoring (hopefully he'll have the amp back in time!!!)
Merry Christmas! I hope to see some of you in a few weeks!
Mike
Good News!
Buddha is back!!! I'm not sure when he'll be back on the Stereophile forums, pissing off the ultra consservatives and Tea Party gang, but he will be back with NFS Audio. Plus, I talked to Bob Carver today. He's gong to have the amplifier ready by tomorrow. We're going to be pushing the Apogees with some real vintage electronics this time around. As always, we'll be closing the joint down and stay there after hours. So come by after the CES, we'll pour you a drink! Dan Wright's tube modded Oppo BPD-83SE sounds fantastic on the system.
All you Stereophile people, I have some 2010 reserve limoncello for you! I'm sure Buddha will have plenty of great wine as well. Cheers!!!
Mike
Give him my regards! And as for pissing off conservatives, Buddha has a strong fiscally responsible side (from business no doubt) that I always found very appealing.
Trey
Buddha made bail. Far out.
