plus she was smoking salvia (which is legal) so apparently her PR people think that stating this fact makes it better for her. nope. weed is WAY more normal than salvia.
Her whole family sort of freaks me out.
She's of age and has a history of stupid behavior.
Salvia sales have gone up - a she is an effective spokesmodel.
Seriously, I've never even considered that it had smoking potential, though I was aware many forms are edible and several in particular are notoriously great salad additions...like pineapple sage.
I have a funny feeling the Feds are going to make me prune my garden even though I have several species that are extremely uncommon and difficult to obtain. This is going to end up pissing off gardeners all over the country. Not only that, because these plants are so durable and flower like crazy, commercial real estate plants these babies all over the place.
Hopefully, this is limited to only certain varieties of Salvia.

the boost in sales that Elk mentions is true! triple sales in California. a lot of people are going to regret that purchase. for the most part, salvia is a pretty lame drug.
