Name an album that you think is perfect from beginning to end.

Plenty of albums have one or two great tracks, but once in a while, an album will be near-flawless from start to finish. Name an album that you think is perfect from beginning to end.

The Beatles' Revolver pops into mind immediately. Just relistened to it on my original '60s purchased vinyl—wow, it's still great.

Pink Floyd's Animals, but with really only three songs, it's almost cheating. British Steel from Judas Priest would be my answer. Wait—both of these are 30 years old. I need to get out more.

Queensryche: Operation Mindcrime. Seamless integration of story and music. Could very well be the best progressive-metal album of all time.

Kind of Blue by Miles Davis—for starters, Led Zepplin I/VV (arguably the best rock album of all time!), & Marvin Gaye's What's Going On?. There are others too many to list here, but these stand out perhaps as the best in their respective genres.

Aretha Franklin's I Never Loved a Man The Way I Love You. This album is over 40 years old and I still love every song on it. I guess a lot has to do with the way each song reflected my life at that time. It's just the best example I know of pure soul music.
