I have a ca 1988 Technics CD player that was my first foray into digital. Over the years, it has been used as a dedicated source, then later only as a transport, handing off the digital data to the A/V receiver du jour. I have a CD player that cost nearly ten times what the old Pano unit cost, but the expensive unit doesn't track damaged discs nearly as well and is much more tedious to program.

My very first integrated amp was an NAD and it lasted 22 years. It pre-dated remotes and I had to use the "Aux" channel as there was not one for CD. It worked flawlessly until just a few years ago.

Monster Cable M1000i Interconnects. Bought this stuff in 1999, and it is still hanging in there. I may replace it tomorrow; but it is still there as of today.

My Sansui G7500 receiver, 1979- still kicking butt! Only in the shop once for a Tuner realignment.
