Amen to that. Solomon was a seminal voice in 1960s soul.

RIP.
This morning I gave to a listen to Burke's most recent recording "Nothing's Impossible" and he sounded wonderful. All of his post "comeback" recordings (from 2002's "Don't Give Up On Me" up to 2010's "Nothing's Impossible") show that Burke lost nothing with respect the quality of his voice and only added a deep sense of worldliness to his singing that only someone who had lived rich and full life could do. In other words, Burke puts most younger singers to shame. He will be sorely missed.
