Hello Everyone,

I'm looking for opinions on a decent record cleaning machine. I'm trying to decide whether the Spin Clean is worth it or if I should go for one the Nitty Gritty machines.

Any thoughts Anyone?

Thanks

Spin CLean is OK if you're on a budget and don't have any really filthy LP's to revive. Otherwise I'd recommend one of the vacuum cleaning machines.
I run a VPI 16.5 which does function well even though it's as noisy

I have a vacuum machine that has gone unused since I bought the GEM DANDY system.

Interesting method but I've never encountered this 'damaging the land' idea they discuss.

I've got a couple of the GEM systems(bought one for my brother but he was gifted one from someone else so I kept it!)

If you shoot me your info, ill send you my extra. I don't use it and I owe you anyway! that way you can compare for yourself.

I got the cheapest vacuum machine I could find, from Audio Advisor I think, and the great Disc Doctor products. I use Mikey's way of cleaning the records and am a happy spinner.
