Forgive the intrusion, but I need to thank God publically

A blessing to read.
Drtrey...
I stand before you a heathen atheist married to a fine Presbyterian.
Yet...
I send you the best wishes I can muuster, and I readily ackonwledge the value of a community like that created by your church....and....also....the "liberal" values of government trying to make sure good hard working people do not fall between the cracks of life. Glad FEMA helped, it's what liberals vote to support.
Weird that church and state overlap so well in our "liberal" country.
God doesn't run FEMA, you and I do...and I am heartened that it can do good for people.
The basis for my confidence in this country is that we try to build-in care for the victims of calamity - be it flood or biological calamity - and it makes life better to know our combination of dumb-ass government and the churches (that some people claim the government hates) to make small differences that can make all the difference.
Wanna see another miracle?
Post your needs or troubles here and see what both conservative and liberal idiots can do to try and be usefiul to you.
Can I help? Can anyone else here?
Beyond faith or political party, there are people who know you without knowing you and may surprise you, amigo.
What can we do?
I honestly wish you only the best.
Absolutely wonderful reading! Thanks for sharing
Trey,
Amen Bro. That is an absolutely wonderful story you shared with us. I personally appreciate that fact that you are giving God thanks. God is good and he fulfills our needs. This is also a testament of when disasters hit, 99% of the time, the Christian community is usually first on the scene.
