The new technology allows for a more precise cutting at the micro-level. The second factor is the new high-polymer polycarbonate material which enables a very precise transfer of bits from the stamper to the CD.

Well let's hope the claims are real. It could however be the solution to problems that don't exist, especially in the light of what I hear from my CD player and Moon's latest.
