I am sure a couple of banana and fig trees would do the trick, but where to hide the monkeys?

Don't forget, DUP used to use Precious Moments figurines on his glass shelves in his listening room.

Probably lots of fine organic things to do...

Owning LP's and books is a good organic room treatment starter!

Creating a room you enjoy being in is also way up there!

Heck, having a room that you have occupied over time may be one of the foundational things that make for an organically pleasing sound.

Maybe some Feng Shui?

Ncdrawl, nice of you to share some of your movie memorabilia collection with us. Not autographed, eh?

Anyway, back to the topic....

In one listening room, my wife has free reign over the back wall of one Hi Fi room and has put up a few dozen framed pics of various sizes and compositions. She likes the look, and it acts as a bit of a diffusor, as well. Nice organic evolution, and she and I are both happy!

If I hang a painting, I like to experiment with types or amounts of batting behing the canvas.

If a shelf doesn't have records on it, I also try to avoid shelving units in listening rooms.

Actually having some randomness/asymmetry of the contents of a room lateral to each speaker seems more organic, too.

Trying to ponder it more, maybe having the listening position symmetrically placed with regard to the speakers, but having the speakers not in symmetry with all the lateral room dmensions work out pretty good....I think I do that more often than not.

Over time, randomness seems to be a friend of audio, and when you roll the dice and the sonic result is not so great, more random living, listening, and arranging seems to eventually direct one to auspicious set ups.
