Posted a few pix of the show in the gallery. The room was decent size and I spent about $23 on stuff I didn't need. That is the point isn't it? We have a number of used music stores here in ATL that were bigger than this show, but they are still fun and worth the 35 minute ride from my house west of ATL.

Bought some new vinyl and CDs still shrink wrapped along with some used stuff. Miles Davis & Quincy LIve at Montreaux, Tony Bennett, Vladimir Horowitz at the Met, Lang Lang: Rachhmaninov, ForePlay X, Fred Hirsch in Amsterdam all Cds; and LPs of Simon and Garfunkel Bookends and Greatest Hits, both used; with Bruce Hornsby and the Range Scenes from the Southside; Jeff Lorber Fusion, both new. That is a pile of music well worth $23.

For sentimental reasons I was looking at those Simon and Garfunkel discs off MusicDirect, but I just saved $40-60 bucks in the process. They will be good enough for sentimental reasons.

I also learned that a new digtial camera is greatly needed as this old 2MP HP my wife has drop-kicked numerous times needs to be taken to the dump. 9 pics and it was finished for the day. My wife is available for any electronics firm in need of consumer product testing for abuse. She is still a keeper anyway for putting up with all the abuse from me. lol Wait, she says it is not THAT funny!

Added a few more pix from what I bought. I told my wife at dinner what happened when I arrived at the show.

I was by a wide margin the best dressed at the show. I did not think that a shirt, tie, and a sweater vest was "dressed up", but here in GA I guess so.

I arrive at the show and got up to the desk to pay my $3 to enter and the lady there just looks at me and asks, "Are you with the FBI, or some government agency. I pause for a minute and let her know that Scully and Muldur from the X-Files had the weekend off, but I was asked to show up by the Department of Revenue and I needed to see her Tax Stamp and see if all the vendors were collecting sales taxes. She went white.

After realizing I was JOKING she wished me a good time. We audiophiles are such kidders!

Perhaps you should've left the Smith & Wesson at home?
