I haven't tried for the same reason - they're so pricy! Might as well go for a minty original pressing. But I heard great things about them via word of mouth.

I've not heard any, but I can answer the question nonetheless: No, they do not justify the price. No SACD is worth $60, and no LP is worth $80.
