I have always found the M-Audio gear very good for the money. I have used their model 44 years ago, then went to the DIO2448 card with my still curent M-Audio flying Calf AD to get sound into my computer, and owned at one time their 2496 SuperDAC which was pretty decent sounding.

I think you made a good choice, but you already know that.
