So, your claim is that 312 people voted for Al Franken?
Or what?
Given the obviously manipulitive, intentionally anti-democratic outcry from the repugnicans (which I separate from real Republicans, i.e. Goldwater Republicans) when people pointed out much more serious misconduct in both Florida in 2000 and Ohio in 2004, I have to conclude that the repugican intent is to lie, cheat, and steal their way into a totalitarian single-party state.
And they seem to be succeeding, only they seem to be giving the whole country over to the knock-kneed liberals.
Which is just as evil.
look at it this way JJ:
With Bush, there was a minor change of government from the group with Clinton. The Clinton cabinet was filled with members of the CFR.
So the Bush cabinet was filled with..... members of the CFR.
So as to embrace change..the Obama government filled the cabinet with .......members of the CFR.
Change = no change. Both parties are run by the same people, the choice aspect is purely an illusion.
CFR?
I'm almost afraid to ask you what a CFR is.
You will find it pretty darned fast if you go looking.
The 'Council On Foreign Relations'
John Kerry and Bush Junior are both members, besides being the children of oilmen....and are actual cousins.
Finally! A professional comedian joins the amateur ranks. I just hope he doesn't get all serious and reverential. This is an opportunity for some great stand-up.
You know who should've run for office is Lenny Bruce.
'Xactly!
We've elected plenty of clowns, but never a professional comedian!
The real result is that an incumbent Senator did such a sucky job that a he couldn't garner enough votes to gain a clear mandate. Like a sports team losing and then blaming one play in a close game, Coleman should have done a better job to begin with so the one play coudln't beat him. Same with Gore gaining more votes but not being able to prevent the Florida stuff from keeping him out of office. If Gore had only been 5,000 votes 'better,' there would not have been the need for all the gymnastics that lead to the Bush victory. Gore's problem.
Franken sank a three pointer from half court as time ran out. Coleman should have been ahead by more than two to begin with.
Why aren't you into sports casting?
What he should say:
Hello, I'm Al Franken, unlike George 'W' Bush, who was put into office despite obviously disputed election results, because I am a Democrat, I was put at a lifetime career disadvantage by being kept out of the Senate, and thereby not gathering seniority, for 6 months because when the Republicans complain about an election, you can't get the job, even though when the Democrats complain, they get thrown to the wolves.
Yeah, the fact that it took Franken this long, and 'W' was president for two terms, really shows the "honesty" in our federal system, alrighty.
Are you dead yet?
