I've used that amp before and it did emit a slight click (more of like a static "snap") through the loud speakers when powered up which is perfectly safe. As long as you don't see the drivers of the speaker physically move a large distance there is no chance of harm to the speakers.
If you are talking about a "click" from within the amp that's a relay opening or closing and is also quite normal for a high-end amp.
