Please be aware that as a first timer at a Sonny Rollins concert you may at times exhibit some of these telltale signs:

1) Sitting for long stretches with your jaw in your lap

2) As a result of #1 above - drooling

3) Pain in the lower part of your face from the silly grin which you discover you've had on your face throughout Sonny's concert

Since you are going with your brother I recommend that you each watch out for the other so that it's not too obvious that you're both "first timers".

Long live Sonny!!! Enjoy it while this GIANT still walks the earth.

Thanks RG for the excellent write up of what sounds like a great Sonny Rollins show. I'm glad that you decided to go and that you were treated to such a wonderful performance. Sonny is truly one of the few surviving JAZZ GIANTS and he will be sorely missed once he joins that great jazz band in the sky.
