I'm surprised to see you touting a speaker you've neither seen nor heard. What gives???
Home Theatre Review is a really awful rag, IMHO.

At He2007, I had the opportunity to hear the vaunted, Watt Puppy 8s. And despite the room, crowd, and to me, source material (I don`t only listen to classical, Pat Metheny, Hubert Laws, Stanley Clarke, understand?!)they sounded very good. Build quality, attention to detail, all things we have read about in countless reviews, proved to be as advertised. After reading this article, it was good to see something completely new.
Why are you hating on HTR? We need to support all high end mags, both print and online. Especially after what I just read about Primedia. In fact, I`m old school. I still get the print for Stereophile. Reading upright, in a chair online, thru a monitor, is not what I call comfortable reading. and it looks like they are trying to take that away from me.
If the new Wilson's sound as good as what I can tell they look like then WOW!
Speakers are indeed the final chain in the system. You really need everything else perfect and neutral or properly balanced but once that is done the speakers are indeed the final straw. If you upgrade everything else before the speakers you won't notice it as much. If you upgrade to an excellent quality speaker first you'll notice a difference at each change in component.
