You ever thought maybe he died? People do that, you know. True story: Guy on Democratic Underground spent so much time trying to dig up dirt on GWB that he literally died at his computer. He died from malnutrition. He mother found his body. Yes, he was a grown man still living with his mother spending all of his time on the PC literally to death. Don't believe me? Join the group. Ask around. They'll tell ya...

Lamont, if you're gonna bullshit, make it worth the effort. Digging up dirt on any of the Bush Crime Family doesn't take but about ... oh, let's see ... "1 - 10 of 83,400,000 for bush crime family (About) - 0.36 s"

http://search.yahoo.com/search?ei=utf-8&fr=slv8-hptb5&p=bush%20crime%20family&type=

83 million! Geez! What a bunch of scum bags!

Yeah, see, Lamont! You can believe someone died playing video games - not a lot of brain power involved in either task. But searching for something criminal to attribute to GWB? I could believe it if someone just couldn't pull themself away from the computer because each entry was more infuriating than the last and their head finally exploded but otherwise digging up dirt on George is too easy.

Knock yourself out, Jan.

The DUer died in vain. Bush is still a free man. Innocent until proven guilty. It's part of freedom. Locking yourself in a room with a computer until you're dead is not a healthy lifestyle. It's dying from freedom deprivation. Like an eating disorder. He became his own prisoner. Even his Mum couldn't save him. If I remember correctly, he died at about post #51,486 and that's no shit. And what is really weird #50k+ posts on DU is nothing over there. Check it out. One could only hope you'll get hooked on DU.

Bush is a free man? Nope, just someone who can rationalize any deed. I've known people like him; they lie, steal and cheat and find a way to tell themself the other person deserved what they got.

Let's see if Bush or Cheney can travel outside of the US to less than co-operative states that take the Geneva Conventions more seriously than Dick and George do. Hell, they're gonna make Colonel Parker look like a world traveller.

I'm not going to be so ridiculous as to argue politics with an ideologue such as you, LS. If that's what you want, stick to the Open Bar. People who want to make everything a partisan attack open threads there. I hardly ever go there because the threads are just BS waged back and forth by people with nothing better to do or say. I get enough of that discussing hifi on the rest of the forum.

A dozen or so members of the last administration committed war crimes - they admit to them and where they don't organizations like the IRC are proving they are criminals - and the criminal regimes they supported are loosing power by the day. So even if they are never brought before a tribunal, they are now imprisoned for the rest of their life by what they have done to the world. Bush is a pariah in the fast crumbling GOP. He has been for the last eighteen months or more and literally everyone is glad to say "serious mistakes were made during the last eight years". Cripes! McCain and Palin ran on that platform! George not only wrecked the country, he wrecked the people who appointed him - his base of have mores. There's not a topic of value where the GOP is ahead in the national polls.

LOL!

Bill and Hillary got rich writing their stories and giving speeches after outwitting the Republican hacks. Now Newt is making a try at a comeback by telling tales of how bad George and Dick screwed things up and taking swipes at the leader of the Republican party - EL Rushbo. You guys want to dump the black poster child for a Big Tent party because he doesn't toe the line and uses words like "hip-hop" and he's an idiot. Doesn't Nixon have a higher approval rating than Newt?

ROTFLMAO!!!

Bush and Cheney are taking another no bid contract for their words - if they can get that. Cheney's still fear mongering and George is still making an ass of himself while trying to decide if Elliott's Hardware actually has a decent health care plan for its employees. Pickles is laying low in North Dallas where the hairdressers all turn out middle aged women with the same hairdo and color and the neighborhood associations won't let you park anything less than an Infinty in your driveway.

If you don't care to think so, that's what makes the US of A really a great country even after eight years of Bush/Cheney. There will always be a small group of people who don't care for the facts, who think McCarthy and Reagan were heroes, just so long as they can rationalize away what they have been told to repeat. They hate everything that isn't them and their only hope is to spread that hate to everything they touch - even an audio forum. Nowdays that's a shrinking number of people and it's not likely to get any larger any time soon. Women hate you, blacks hate you, Hispancis don't trust you at all and young people are running the other way. Your "rich white guy" party is getting older is all - not better and certainly not bigger. You stand on your "conservative principles" like Rushbo, Hannity and the other pimps are telling you to do while we kick your butt in the elections for the next twenty years. You're talking to yourself, LS, and all the people just like you who don't want to have anything to do with anyone who isn't just like you. You vote against your own interests and you spout BS and tired ideas that aren't good for anyone other than a small, very rich and screw the rest of the world portion of the country. That crap has been put on the clearance rack and still isn't selling this year.

I've been a member of DU for years now. I don't spend much time on the highly partisan sites any longer - on either side, they seldom present news that's useable. I still like Truthout on occasion and Thom Hartmann is the best radio broadcaster of his kind.

But I see no need in turning an audio forum into a political battleground just to get your jollies.

Well... that thread we did on the 12sx7 tube is considered one of the best classic audio posts/threads, ever. It even ended with some custom Jeff Wong art. It sorta summed up what audio on the net was all about.
