I didn't know anywhere was more corrupt than Illinois, especially after Katrina which swept a good number of the worst out of office.

Ah, the old "there is someplace worse" rationalization!

Thanks for agreeing on all the other points, too!

Not even FM.

As Leviticus teaches us, radio is an abomination.

Rush is the social conservative, divorced three times, who takes jars of Viagra to the Dominican Republic, why?

Let's start a "Protect the Teen Hookers of the DR" program and get Rush off the mattress.

Wacking Limbaugh would be so much more impressive if one had first built credibility wacking Clinton, Franks, Rangel, Burris, Blago, etc.

To steal an old Spanish line "Leftists lecturing on morality is like a pig lecturing on hygiene"

Their own world is simply too full or crooked folk in power to lecture anyone.

When leftists are caught being immoral at least it's usually with a member of the opposite sex. They are caught in the office not in train/bus station restrooms passing notes under the stall walls.

Funny you should mention that.

How does the right stand for a leader who who is a 'social conservative' who is a multpile divorcee, narcotic addict, criminal, single male who takes jars of Viagra to the Dominican for weekend jaunts?

What would a true social conservative need with a jar of Viagra if he isn't married?

The right gets lectures from a cesspool and can't say "Ditto" fast enough.

Ewwww.

Now, their party has become so intellectually bankrupt, they pull up a new icon with almost the same profile as the President they loath. Their own little blow-up doll to substitute for their loss of Karl Rove's lucious curves.

Actually, they are normally caught with their fingers in the pie, as in not paying taxes or selling favors. Their sexscapades are simply their normal inability to keep their fly's zipped, a problem with both parties.

How did the left stand by a leader caught with his pants down, selling secrets to the Chinese for cash, selling pardons, etc? You equate a radio personality with the actual head of a party and President...not exactly a real comparison.

Unfortunately, it is an apt comparison.

Go check Fox news online...right this minute!

And, no, defending Rush by criticizing Clinton does not make for a legitimate retort.

Both sides do this back-and-forth BS as though the failings of one party somehow indemnify them from their own misbehavior.

I say we should call them all out, not say, "Rush? Uh, Clinton!"

Criticizing Rush as a party leader is vastly more hypocritical when one sort of forgets about ones own REAL party leader and President guilty of vastly more naughty behavior.

Clinton WAS President...Rush is an entertainer with a 3 hour a day radio program.

Rush did give his first ever "State of the Union" speech today on Fox. I think Buddha knows what is going to come of this type of news coverage. All that bitching and tripping up of the last president is coming back to haunt. Conservatives are not going to leave their core beliefs at the door to kneel at the Democrats altar of their demented vision of bipartisanship. Obama can't even get a chimpanzee with a clean record to hold a cabinet position. This is not starting off very well at all. That's too bad. That chimp who attacked that women in Florida was just days away from being appointed as the new Secretary of Commerce.

Did you see that speech? (no teleprompter)Compared to Limbaugh Obama is about as exciting a speaker as Babbling Biden (once the most stupid man in Congress). In addition to being truthful, he was funny. Why is there no sense of humor on the left?

Because it's not funny when conservatism sells on the open and free market. From that perspective I can see why liberals can't find humor in anything. Especially, the ratings of their favorite news coverage.

Anyway, if you haven't noticed yet most liberals can't write a complete paragraph. Not counting paragraphs consisting of one sentence. It must be their Blackberry devices turning them into illiterate imbeciles, right? Yeah, that's it.

It pleases me beyond belief to see conservatives bitching and moaning at the liberal policies for a change. Keep bitching. You guys have already shown that you can't govern, so bitching is what you do best.

All we need is time...Obama is getting the benefit of the doubt but he is spending money he does not have, tomorrows money, your kids money, and he is spending it far faster than Bush ever did. When the money is gone and the economy is worse and conservatives are loudly saying 'we told you so', then folk will begin to wonder...'just what aside from democrat special interest happiness, have we gotten with all this debt'...then they will begin to listen to us.

less than 1 year for his numbers to drop below 50%, less than 2 years for real unrest to appear. That is all he has, two years to fix stuff or be labeled a dangerous failure. Reagan managed it, mostly because he used polices that always work. Obama is using socialism, an idea that always takes forever to have any effect beside killing economic expansion. I figure conservatives will have a rough year and then watch out.

Yeah, that should cheer you up. All we have to do is wait two years and you'll be Mr. Happy!

Rush's hope for America:

"I hope he fails."

Rush let slip with a killer Freudian..."wants people in fear, angst and crisis, fearing the worst each and every day."

Summmed himself and the right wing nuts in one rather efficient statement.

You guys can cling to your guns and religion and pray for our country's faulure all you like - we have you figured out.

Free market conservatives who want price limits in the gear Stereophile reviews, but can't stand the idea of our government addressing the cost of war in the budget.

Who has more power, the radio entertainer or the President's Chief of Staff?

I just ordered my new bumper stickers

Oh, an aside...I never said anything about putting price limits or tests on the gear reviewed. I just objected to the affectation that megabuck gear is 'affordable' 'budget' or 'moderately priced'...4 and 5 digit gear is simply not moderately priced unless one is very wealthy or getting a big break on price, neither of which applies to many of us.

I guess "Put the 'F' back in 'Freedom'" is about his love of the right wing's abuse of warrantless wiretapping, the "Patriot" Act, rendition, waterboarding, and ill advised invasions, then spending the next 16 years kvetching bitterly about how those ideas lead to America so emphatically rejecting this notion, that the left almost acieved a filibuster-proof majority!

8 years of vandalizing the nation have left Lamont with a can of spray paint that he hasn't huffed yet, so he's gotta use it on something!

"Put the 'F' back in Freedom." You are so full of it!

Good one!

Some radical left wing nut named Richard Steele just started trickling down on Rush.

"Yes, it is incindiary. Yes, it is ugly."

Who the Hell does this liberal Richard (Dick?) Steele think he is busting on President Limbaugh like that?

Dick Steele picking on poor Rush, the self-proclaimed head of the new Republican Party.

You're not slipping. You don't admit your mistakes even when they are there for the whole world to see. Are you sure you actually took any 101 level courses?
Did you get into college on an athletic scholarship? It's a well known fact that entrance requirements are relaxed for jocks.
