I have not heard the Dragons, but I have the cheaper (but not cheap!) Firebird cables and love them! To me they do absolutely do everything right- great dynamics, balance of tone, naturally warm but not murky, detailed but not bright.

No links or pictures anywhere. I think Chris introduced these cables at CES early this year, I believe Stereophile even mentioned them on one of the CES daily reports.
In any case, if anyone is close to Stereovox please share some info
Here's the reply I got from Chris after inquiring about these new cables:

Unfortunately - no dealer has these in stock in the USA. Our demand on production from overseas has been taxing, so I haven't promoted domestically. I don't have anything to loan, either. Terribly sorry for this, but these are made-to-order products and I realize that this makes things difficult without a local dealer to make an audition possible.

I could see how auditioning a 28,000 to 36,000 dollar set of speaker cables is not too high on most common folks to do list!
for 36,000.00 they had effing damn well do a lot more than pass signals from one component to another.

and to the OP, no..guy, noone is going to listen to that stuff...well, maybe tres riche people with more money than sense... but not too many of those people here. ..well, maybe clifton. maybe you and he can discuss them to your hearts content.

The Silver Dragon's are not made by Stereovox, they are made by this guy: http://www.moon-audio.com/Speaker%20Cable.htm and they cost around $600 for a 10 ft pair, not $30k.
