am I better to just stick with what I have (Cardas Crosslink interconnects) and go buy more vinyl?

I actually can't think of a situation in which I wouldn't recommend this course of action.

Cardas is quality stuff. Buy music.

Good lord, nothing you mentioned is superior to your Cardas. Many moons ago I owned Vampire. My Vampires had bad solder and they didn't sound that great before they started to fail. That was 20+ years ago, so maybe QC has improved, but I'd not chance that vs. just staying with Cardas.

Buy more LPs.

I have heard a number of silver interconnects and I have found all of them to be bright, not only in my system but in the systems of others too.

That is my concern with silver, but in the past while I have added lots of warmth with a tubed amp and now the tubed phono stage I was wondering if the silver would be more revealing. Thusfar I haven't heard any compelling reasons to change.
