If you have a satellite or cable receiver, run its output into the amplifier's inputs. No matter what, you must connect output to input. Even without a satellite/cable system, the TV should have an "audio out" connection. Have you read the owner's manual?
ya...the owners manual should say. and if not look the model up online, if that fails just try all the combinations.
(joke)
this TV appears to only have a digital SPDIF for audio out to hifi system. Trouble is my Music Hall Amp doesn't have a spot to connect into, it has regular type jacks for source in like left and right AUX, TUNER, CD, DVD. Is there a cable that I can buy to run the digital SPDIF to analog inputs or I'm I not going to be able to do this?
I have to say I am unaware of such a cable. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist, it merely reflects the lack of SPDIF's on my system. Call the dealer who sold you the MH gear or a shop that is more familiar with equipment using SPDIF connectors.
