What do you mean by "push" your speakers more? Louder?
Have a look at the back of your receiver. You'll see - in the top right corner of the connections array - a set of jacks marked "PRE OUT". These allow you to use the preamplifier output to drive an external amplifier.
A few possibilities include the NAD C272 ($800, 150W) or a pair of Outlaw Audio 2200 ($650, 200W). The Outlaws are what are called monoblock amplifiers. There is a separate chassis for each channel, so you buy two to power a stereo pair of speakers. There is also the Adcom GFA-5400 ($800, 125W). It may be rated as having less power than the receiver, but I can almost guarantee it will sound more powerful. Parasound also makes a range of stereo amplifiers: The 275 ($500, 75W), 2125 ($700, 125W), and 2250 ($1200, 250W).
Sorry, yes louder
Yes, there is several "pre-out" connections available on the receiver.
Thanks for the suggestions, I will check those out.
Any idea about the Pioneer Elite A-35R or M10x?
When driving only two channels you should get all 140 watts your receiver is rated for, and with efficient speakers (91dB) they should play crazy loud at ear bleed levels.
Is it simply volume you are seeking, or bass slam or something else?
I'm not being critical, but looking at your list of goodies I can't imagine that you cannot produce enough volume to satisfy you. Thus, I suspect there is something else about your system that isn't quite up to what you want.
Have you heard systems that do what you seek?
