Blah, blah, blah, blah, etc., etc., etc.

Checkout some large pro installations.

I did but I didn't like the sound at the auditorium.

And this has nothing to do with the original question. This is just another dup rant against what I own. Come on, dup! Grow the hell up.

Wasn't the guys Watt and Ampere scientists, who said, this is how it is, after seeing Voltaire.....if these 3 dudes didn't stick to their ideas, we might be discussing the effects of not enough (what) watt?

Three guys walk into a bar, Watt, Ampere and Voltaire.....
fill in the rest of the joke.

A great set-up! I can't wait for the electrifying, and probably shocking, conclusion.

Voltaire claims "I don't kill, it's Ampere".
Who wants pi?
The angle of the phase angle is directly related to the frequency supplied to the reactance of the load.
Lets all meditate. Ohm, Ohm.
All we're missing is that guy from the internet that calls himself "impedence". Stupid name, but he really completes our group.

Monotech - from the UK -- could deliver enough to weld steel - we tested them in 1989 - my god, they were well made. - Great as PA amplifiers with a relaibility NASA could only dream of. We deployed a lot of these into Mediteranean and Saudi climates (Hotels - Night clubs - Rock venues) and non failed.

Yep, amps for clubs and outdoor venues certainly could do it, I am convinced going to aclub that had a 40K soundsytem that held 900 people caused my ears some damage. Still if they were better I would have to spend even more money on hi-fi.

I was a Krell devotee in the 80's driving my ribbon Apogee Scintillas

The KMA 100 monoblocs could drive the silly 1 ohm loading, but only just.

The fan noise was an extreme irritant for such expensive amps.

One day , listening to 'The Road from Hell'(!) the rh amp burst into flames as the output devices failed.

The STA250 was the next choice
Krell ads showed it boiling water with open ended cables into a bucket!

This could do the job

But it was a sledgehammer to crack a walnut

There are more elegant ways to move air.

I traded up and bought a Meridian D6000 active pair

Which I have upgraded and still have today.

They are 300w a side (150w for the woofers 4x8,75w mid 7,75w dome Tweeter)

More than enough for me.

I listen @ 85db ish

Welding stainless steel and boiling buckets of water is not apropriate for enjoying music unless you like Stockhausen or Metallica.
