Or... a PEAR?! Is that too obvious?

Notice, Sir DUP, they actually have measurements to support their claims of quality. Something I'd think you'd be moderately interested in, though I hardly expect to an endorsement.

Here we go. these cables are designed to deal with VIBRATIONS!!! OK, let's see THAT data. It all sounds a bit fruity to me. I'm sure someone can hear teh audible effects of VIBRATIONS on a piece of wire!!!alsways a new and different angle with what matters, and how audible it all is in a piece of wire. How come the next breakthrough cable seller, doesn't deal with...hmm, let's see, oh, barometric pressure and it's electrical effects on wire....it sure effects EARS...another day anotehr wire seller. The fruit doesn't fall very far from teh tree.....I think fruit is a nice new angle, since others have rivers, mountains, reptiles. Sonic fruit

It would appear that you are unfimiliar with the concept of Cable Microphony (microphonics in cables). Here's a description:

Quote:
The woven arrangement for coaxial cables also has the effect of making them more flexible. This is convenient when we want to bend them to fit around corners. However it also increases their sensitivity to Microphony. This is an effect where any changes in external force (or atmospheric pressure) applied to the cable tends to alter its outer diameter, or shape. This will change its capacitance per length. Now the cable

Let's take this discussion to the Cable forum, please, guys, and leave this area free from further comment unless directly related to the Pear Cables. Thanks.
