I would like to see J.A. test some of those Italian products that Sam raves about.
I would like to see JA review the Revel M22. As its predecessor was rated as a Class A speaker and it is priced and sized in a way as to be very attractive, I would think, to a large number of people then a follow up review is very much in order. I am also interested as it now seems to be somewhat of an anomoly in the Revel range as it retains its original titanium tweeter and has no tweeter wave guide, a feature that Revel now seem to use universally. I would hope that a review is possible as Stereophile (JA) does regularly review this type of speaker and I would imagine that unlike a review of a large expensive speaker from a small limited production manufacturer that the organisation of such a review would be relatively easy. Thanks MA
Peace and good will for all mankind.
Oh, and JA measurments of that Manley Steelhead phonostage that everyone is raving about (that shouldn't be too hard, considering someone there owns one) would be nice too.
Obviously J.A. is slacking and needs to get with the program. I mean with all of his automated computerized test equipment what is he doing with all of his time?
That wasn't how I meant it, but nice attitude. I'm sure you've earned your Brownie points for the day on that one.... Not!
This is a "wish" list remember? Not a "demand" list. Thank you for playing....
What the #$% is a brownie point? I'm still trying to figure out the star thingy.
As for my comments about testing being easy, I also do it for a living and can't believe how long simple tasks take, usually because of simple problems.
I'm going to have to second your interest in a review of one of the Paradigm Signature floorstanders. Here's the rest of my list:
-EMM Labs CDSA CD/SACD player
-I don't know if John DeVore has review samples of the Gibbon 9 ready, but I'd love to see that review when he does
-Rega P3-24 or P2
-BAT VK-300x integrated
-Bel Canto e.One S300iu
This is fun!
Klipschorn with measurements of course.
Original? Short horn? Full horn? 1987 version? 2007 version? Testing a speaker that has been in production for 60 years might present problems.
You think that years of production will be a problem?
Not compared to making measurements. A speaker that uses the walls of the room as part of its horn. Besides the problem with the weight of the speaker, how do you do an anechoic measurement while missing part of the speaker (the walls)?
That's why Atkinson makes the big bucks.
I would like to see JA test Sam that some of those Italian products rave about.
