I'd recommend you get the best buy for your buck "Stereo Only" system why you have such good prices. With limited funds, but with some serious discounting on a closing down sale, you can put together a seriously good stereo system. If you want to go multi channel, you can always buy second hand later and but as funds allow.
But if it was me,I'd go for the very best stereo system my funds would allow given the sale/auction and bargins at the time.
BTW I have listened to the SF Domus and found the highs and bass to be great, but found the midrange a little too sweet for my tastes.
Thanks for the reply Colin.
So, to make sure I understand correctly, are you saying it's a bad idea to hook up two speakers into a multichannel source? Or is this even possible?
I recommend you go for a 2 channel only system at the moment. Unless you have some compelling reason for buying a multichannel system at the moment.
You stated in your origional post, you had No sources as of yet, or speakers?
