If you find the woofers getting raspy you can re-foam them yourself with a $20 kit from NewFoam. Easy to do.
I have done both my AR 58's and the JBL L-15's my daughter is taking back with her to Connecticut from her trip here this past week. The first 25 years were mine, the next 25 are hers. They still sound great.

I can't figure out how to get the grill off... What's the best way to do it? I know it's a sealed cabinet. Looks like the only way would be to break down the framing around the front.
