It uses the same RCA phono connections...no problem. that was "EASY". However, you ain't gonna hear anything since it's output be too low for most MM phono stages....select MC if available, if not, you need a transformer or pre pre amp.

You'd need at least a high output MC to work with a MM stage.

Going MC cart --> MM preamp sometimes works pretty well, if the cartridge isn't an ultra-low output and the preamp has a reasonable amount of gain and isn't too noisy.

In the '80s I had good luck running a Koetsu Black straight into a Marantz 7 preamp, but it wouldn't quite hack it into a Dyna PAS-3, even though they both have similar gains (~40dB @ 1KHz). The Dyna was just too noisy, but the Marantz was useable even if you had to crank the volume all the way up.

Modern preamps tend to have less gain than that on the MM inputs, but they also tend to be quieter. Sometimes you get lucky. Or at least lucky enough for a temporary lash-up to let you limp along until you have the funds for a different preamp or at least a step-up device.

MM cart --> MC preamp would be less likely to work well. The input impedance of many MC preamps is quite low, which would kill any chance of the MM cart making any high frequencies. Then the excessive gain would be at minimum a handful, and at worst it could overload or clip the preamp.

Of course, either way, no damage will be done, except to your ears.

When I first got my preamp, I wasn't aware that the phono module was set for MC. My MM cartridge sounded terrible, which prompted me to open up the unit and investigate.
