How unsafe or Illegal is YOUR method of eliminating noise? Since most things I read here are not NEC code compliant or used with UL listed or ETL listed components, but sure do have a lot of make beleive magic nonsense. I think ALL magic wire mfgs should be required to get their stuff UL or ETL tested/Listed etc. It just might eliminate 90% of the BS nonsense. Which twist in wire is todays superior method?

And another thing, UL does have a listing standard for surge/noise/spike supprsion I think it's UL1429...the number may be off slightly, but surge/spike items with UL listed numbers do at least have to meet a certain standard of performance for safety, spike survival. Adhering to industry stanards is why the FTC came up with power advertising requirments years ago, due to the utter nonsensical claims and different methods of obtaining the claimed results, conditioners for consumer use makers should have to adhere to the same type of standards for surge/spike AC power "purifiers" when making claims. Industry and pro line conditioners sure do, can you just see a place spending $10's of thousands of dollars to protect their $1 Million worth of stuff, not based on real tests, just claims of well this magic twist will make it all work, don't happen.
