What was wrong with it?
Looks real good, Mr. Mikeymad. How long has your analog set-up been out of commission?
Well I moved a couple of years ago into a smaller space that needed some work. So, it was a case of made due with what I had room for and access to. It wasn't until about a year ago when I found that I could get musical satisfaction from headphones. I made the leap with several headphone setups and then worked on finding a way to bring the analog library back to life. So I bought and finished a couple of LP racks, and then I was able to setup the system shown.
If I stay much longer in this place, I will be looking to setup a near-field listening system. I would not be able to get far enough away from the 802
I'm about to do the same thing. I haven't had my turntable setup in 15 years, and I'm dying to hear my records again. The shock has been trying to find parts for equipment that hasn't been manufactured in over a decade. It'll be worth it, though.
PS: nice gear
