Any thoughts on a Harman Kardon HK3480 Receiver ?
If you're looking for a little more volume and that is the reason for wanting 100 watts instead of 70, you should be aware that increasing your amp capacity by 30 watts would only equate to about 1 db in volume. In other words, while you may get better quality sound by changing amps, the additional 30 watts won't do much for you in the volume department.
How much are you looking to spend and are you open for used gear or only new gear?
I am looking to upgrade the clarity of the amp.Not the volume as much. I would go with used or Refurbished. I saw Harman sells their refurb with the same warranty as new...
I need more inputs than my old Denon too.
Thanks
Doug
If you are patient, consider this Outlaw receiver that was well reviewed by Stereophile and runs about $600. I suspect it is in an entirely different class than most HK stuff.
Rotel, NAD and Cambridge Audio all make affordable gear that remains true to audio fidelity.
Thanks Monty. I will look on the manufacturer and ebay sites.
