It's in very good cosmetic shape, but, even with the Wollensak transport, I don't think I'd want to search out clutches or a replacement permalloy head.

Jim,why did you remind me this ? I have 2 broken down,bought new,cassette deck.Problem is,no one here can fix them and i it would cost a fortune to send them to Japan for repair,let alone the "pain-in-the-A" to have to explain what is wrong with them by phone to some Japaneese guy who can't understand a word in English lol The first is a Nakamich 680 which to be honest,i don't care to have it fixed but the second one,if money were no object,i honestly would have it fixed just to see it sitting on my rack. A gorgeous Teac Z-7000.

The Teac might actually be fixable here in the U.S. of America. And, you will only have to speak the "official National language".
