It is clear from the WP review the Dynaudio's are well worth owning. I think the trick here is, and I know this will pain you but, buy them right before you go on vacation for 1-2 weeks. Crank up the amp, put the cd player ( a cheaper 5 disc changer) on full repeat and "let the good times roll for 7-14 days. When you get back heaven should await you.

Triangles are almost as bad, but need not as many hours, but like the Dynaudios it is well worth the effort.

This is true with many cables as well. I know it's hard to believe, but it is oh so true.

I wonder if what takes so long with the Dynaudio speakers is the yards of wire inside the voice coils?

My notes don't show much cable jiggery-pokery during the (exended) burn in. Dynaudio had warned me that they'd take a while, but even so I was getting antsy. However, I did want to keep things the same until I either noticed a difference or wrote 'em off as colored, so I hung in there with the Stereovox Colibris.

The Confidence C1 is definitely on my short list. My only concern is that I would be powering it with a 40 watt tube integrated (Prima Luna 2). Is this enough power for these speakers? My listening room is not small either.
