I recently discovered that if you go to the main index page, and then click on the "Last Post" heading, it reorders the entire index by descending order of the most recent posts (instead of the the default sorting , which is reverse alphabetical order of the posted SUBJECTS).
Very convenient.
I think that may be what you would like to see??
