Music Direct and Acoustic (yes, one c)Sounds. They'll both knock your eyes out with their selections of new vinyl and their service is great. Good shopping to you.

MD will send you e-mail announcements of new items available.

Clay,

Thanks so much for the help. I'll check those places out.

Thanks again,

Am I missing something? I see (pardon the pun) the correct number of Cs in Music Direct and Acoustic Sounds. What does the "yes, one c" refer to?

Hi there

I bought lps from several online dealers but the only trouble-free i found (bought from them several times) is elusivedisc.com All the others either send me damaged disc (ie packaging not quite so good) or other problems, like for instance,i bought a lp from one but when i got it,came without outer sleeve. It was stated in the invoice but not in their website.

Hi,

I have purchased new vinyl from Music Direct, Accoustic Sounds and Elusive Disc. All are excellent, however, I most often purchase from Elusive Disc because I like their website the best (a little more "funky" then the other two).

Did check out your website. I'll be there again too. Thanks for the link.

About the TAS smear etc., write it off to jealousy. They probably got the word about your new Australian sweetheart.

How does the vinyl remixed for 5.1 surround sound play on stereo systems?

The three or four sites mentioned in this thread are nice...

..But none of them carry any Porcupine Tree on vinyl. Most of them had the DVD-A releases, but no records. Anybody know of a state-side seller who carries PT on vinyl?

Porcupine Tree on vinyl is tough, anywhere!

Ebay is my next in line after the main sources.

Porcupine Tree LP

What cities are people in?

Maybe we can help with independent record shop info.

I actually travel about 2 1/2 hours east to a little town called Cedar City, Utah to do my hands on vinyl shopping.

There's a great independent new and used store call Groovacious, with the old fashioned kind of owner who likes to chat and is great with "Well, if you like that, check out this..." recommendations.

I mention them because they are online at...

http://www.groovacious.com/

The owner will check availabilities and do special ordering.

Look around, there may be a store like Groovacious near you!

Thank you for replying!

I'm in Louisville, KY. There are a few places that stock vinyl here... Most of them have a fairly small selection, and only one (that I know of) is a vinyl only store. Platterpus, I think they're called.
