Wired:

This issue has been discussed on audioasylum.com, so here is what I know - if you don't post there.

The clicking is due to the A324 losing its lock with the transport. You'll probably also see the lock lights on the front panel flicker. I have had the same issue with my A324.

How to fix it? According to the US distributior, here's what to do: Power off the CD transport. Power off the A324. Unplug the A324 from the wall. Wait 30 seconds. Plug the A324 back in. Turn on the A324. Turn on the transport.

The A324 is merely a "computer", and it sometimes needs to be "rebooted".

Also, MF doesn't recommend leaving your A324 on all the time. They claim no sonic benefits, and leaving it on increases the chance of losing the lock with the transport.

YMMV Good Luck.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply.

Yeah, I saw once the "locked" led flickering when I heard a crack.

I unplugged and switch on the DAC, then switch on the player but I heard a crack once till now.

If it happens again, I'll bring it for repair.

Another thing is that when I play an Audio DVD with a different sample rate than the one I played before, the highs disappear. So I have to switch off the DAC and switch it on and the highs are back.

Thanks for your advices.

See U
