Hmm, stereophile is my first foreign forum I contribute to. Otherwise I use to be quite involved in different swedish hifi-forums and communities;
Faktiskt.se - "In fact" in swedish. Technically oriented and with a great DIY forum.
Hififorum.nu - Quite similar to Faktiskt.se, but differs in debate climate.
Euphonia-audioforum.se - Mainly Swedish, but also Danish, Norewgian och Finnish. Mainly high-end audio, with great pictures and articles. Has a very nice nostalgic forum, for vintage audio.
edit: my bad english...
I read audioasylum mainly, however there are other forums I will scope out from time to time. Stereophile however is a nice addition to audioasylum, seems a lot more laid back! (excluding the DBT threads:)
The Joe List and Hong Kong Tube Audio Club. Used to RAT but AOL dumped newsgroups and I never got up to speed on the IE user interface.
Primarily audiocircle.com (I'm one of the admins, so I'm biased. )
Also audioasylum, headfi, diyaudio and a couple of others.
Really great to see Stereophile put up a site. I've been a subscriber for a long time. Not exactly sure when, sometime in the late 70's, early 80's. Those years are pretty fuzzy for me, so I'm not 100% sure. I do remember it was digest sized and reading about the Futterman OTL's.

Been a member there for, uh, 6 years...
The best audio site on the internet in my experience is head-fi.org. I guess I'd give AudioAsylum the runner-up status, but it isn't nearly as active or informative, in my opinion.
Love Stereophile
Mostly Nikon and digital Imaging
Got hooked on audio at Rec.Audio.Opinion
